Zach

Born and raised in Dryden, Michigan, Zach grew up surrounded by wooden boats and developed a lasting appreciation for the water. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management from Oakland University and spent the summer before college working at a marina, gaining valuable firsthand experience in the boating world.

Zach is married and enjoys family life with his wife, their two-year-old daughter, and an energetic Australian Shepherd.

At Boyne Boat Yard, Zach finds satisfaction in any project that keeps him connected to boats. Whether it’s overseeing a detailed restoration or managing daily operations, he enjoys the process of seeing projects through and keeping the focus on quality craftsmanship.

Outside of work, Zach can often be found working on projects of his own—whether it’s house renovations, woodworking, or anything related to boats. He brings that same curiosity and hands-on problem-solving to his role at BBY.
