Marine Service Yard Project Manager

THE POSITION: We’re hiring for a year-round, full-time Project Manager to oversee customer projects at a full-service marine yard. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, has a background in boating, is hyper analytical, communicates well, and is experienced with Excel. As a member of our team, you will be expected to learn our company operations and processes. We provide the highest quality services to our customers—we don’t cut corners, and we prioritize customer service. Our team takes great pride in their work, and we’re looking for like-minded individuals.

In this role, you’ll participate in daily and weekly huddles, problem solving, and customer communications. You’ll be expected to bring energy, enthusiasm, and tenacity every day—actively contributing to day-to-day challenges, financials, and monthly meetings.

PAY: Compensation is $24–$36 per hour, based on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Ensure customer projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer communication, updates, and budget concerns.
  • Manage project workflows, including planning, execution, and milestone tracking.
  • Lead project team meetings, promoting communication and positive team culture.
  • Oversee procurement and availability of materials, ordering, tracking, and delivery checks.
  • Estimate labor and parts, document change orders as needed.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and ensure safety and design adherence.
  • Collaborate with technicians to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications & Requirements


  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer tools, including Excel.
  • Mechanical aptitude and preventative maintenance knowledge preferred.
  • Experience leading teams and managing projects.
  • Strong customer service focus and relationship-building ability.
  • Familiarity with ABYC standards (certifications a plus).
  • Pass a background check
  • Physical Demands: Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds, climb stairs/ladders, etc.
